In a town lacking a decent hotel, the newly renovated Sindha Hotel offers solid standards if it fits your budget. Unlike the Rima and the the convent, Hotel Sindha is well located in the centre of town within easy walking distance of the few eateries in town and from where the share taxis depart from.
The standard rooms are remnants from the old property, a clutch of scuffed wall, very ordinary affairs behind the new building — they are not worth considering.
The superiors though are brand spanking new, smart and spacious rooms with flat screen TVs, comfortable beds (with real sheets and blankets!) and immaculate bathrooms. T
hey do come with a hefty pricetag, though some bargaining may help. WiFi is available throughout and there is a restaurant on site. Staff speak some English and try hard to help. If you’re looking for a comfortable hotel at a mid-level price point, look no further.
